Kate Moss named ‘contributing fashion editor’ at British Vogue

One of the most iconic British supermodels in history gets behind the camera and plays editor for British Vogue
fashionnews6There are many strings to Kate Moss’s bowl, from supermodel to music muse, designer to singer (for a few brief moments in a Primal Scream track, granted) – and now you can add fashion editor to that list.
After years in the fashion industry, the iconic model – who has featured on more than 30 Vogue covers since her debut – will be playing her hand at the behind-the-scenes element of fashion shoots.
So, what will she be doing? Vogue has described her role as very “hands-on”, which we imagine means liaising with stylists, photographers and models, and putting her fashion directorial skills to the test. As a model who has worked with countless team members of the creative fashion industry, we’re sure she’ll know a thing or two.
Although we doubt she’ll be working in the office (imagine the work experience asking THE Kate Moss if she wants one or two sugars in her tea) it is likely that Moss will be getting stuck in on shoots and layouts, putting her stylish fashion eye to the test.
Miss Moss, as always – we salute you.
